After three years as Marketing and Communications Manager working for Vertical Harvest Farms (the first hydroponic, vertical greenhouse in North America), Kyra has helped build a brand that is admired nationally and loved locally. Through their mission of Growing Food & Futures, Kyra’s work spans across running all digital media platforms to managing in-person events and direct to consumer sales.

During Kyra’s time at VHF the company has been featured in INC Magazine, CBS Sunday Morning, Fast Company, and so many more. Her work across social media, email marketing, and website design has been crucial to the brand success. Kyra continues to manage the digital marketing campaigns for Vertical Harvest channels.

Continued Work at Vertical Harvest Farms

  • Kyra continues to manage the VHF Instagram, Linkedin, Twitter, Facebook, Vimeo, Tik Tok, and Youtube channels. Through strategic planning and engaging content, Kyra has lead VHF to be the #1 for engagement and audience growth compared to their competitors.

  • Kyra continues to design and schedule all Mailchimp email marketing. Through unique GIFs, interesting content, and readable designs, Kyra has helped VHF reach a 40% open rate and 2.5% click rate (industry average is below 20% open rate).

  • From filming an at home recipe using microgreens, to being behind the scenes at restaurants in Jackson, Kyra captures content that shows the ins and outs of a vertical farming company. Her closer relationship with the employees leads to fun, up-beat videos across their Instagram Reels and Tik Toks (with outstanding viewer rates!).

About the work:

Through collaboration with videographers, producers, photographers, and directors, Kyra helped bring this virtual tour to life. Kyra also managed production teams such as CBS Sunday Morning, Good Morning America, and the Story Exchange to come into the greenhouse for filming and interviews.
